Panoramic – Mining 2026 provides a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the regulatory framework within the mining industry across 15 countries, covering areas such as permitting procedures, corporate structures, taxation, and land and environmental law. The Swedish chapter has once again been authored by Foyen's partner Pia Pehrson, together with attorney Moa Gruneau.

Foyen holds deep expertise in the mining sector and regularly supports its clients on matters relating to permit processes, joint ventures, project financing, mergers and acquisitions, and more. Pia Pehrson leads Foyen's Mining Group, and Moa Gruneau brings several years of experience in mining-related legal work, specialising in corporate law with a particular focus on the energy and natural resources sectors.

- We in Foyen's Mining Group find it both important and rewarding to once again contribute to Panoramic Mining. We work with the mining industry on a daily basis and closely follow developments in legislation and case law, partly in light of the EU's Critical Raw Materials Act. Questions around self-sufficiency in raw materials present significant opportunities for Sweden and the Nordic region, but a number of legal challenges remain, says Pia Pehrson.
